State declares Obama birth certificate real, again

HONOLULU -- State officials again are confirming that President Barack Obama was born in Hawaii.

Health Director Dr. Chiyome Fukino said Monday she has seen the original birth records that verify Obama was born in Hawaii, and is a "natural-born American citizen."

Fukino made the announcement in hopes of ending any lingering rumors about Obama's citizenship. She issued a similar press release Oct. 31.

Maya Soetoro was born to Indonesian businessman Lolo Soetoro and American cultural anthropologist Ann Dunham and is half-sister to the 44th President of the United States, Barack Hussein Obama. While living in Indonesia, she was home schooled by her mother and then attended Jakarta International School, later returningto Hawaii where she attended the private Punahou School in Honolulu, Hawaii, graduating in 1988.

Besides being the First Sister Maya has a Hawaiian Certification of Live Birth - despite be born in Jakarta Indonesia. Supposedly this certificate was used by the Daily Kos to forge an Obama version. Does anyone find it odd that Maya; undisputedly born in Indonesia, would have the same type of document as Barack Obama to forge?

I’m sure the phone will be ringing, and a lot more news reports will be generated from those phone calls... :-)

And those official statements do come out like you say. But phone calls and news reports work a lot faster... i.e., the news cycle.

Remember..., we also got the “news” from the state that the birth certificate had not been destroyed but stored. It’s the same thing there. Stuff like this comes out quicker on the news reports than it shows up on state resources. We know from those “news reports” that the birth certificate is in storage, and it’s by those news reports that we know that the State of Hawaii states that Obama was born in Hawaii and that he is a natural-born American citizen.

If that's what Hawaii issues, then what else is there? You might as well suggest that any citizen of that state with such a document isn't a natural-born citizen.

And, if that's the custom of the state, it sort of makes it hard to single out one individual and call foul.

Then why bother with a Certification. It takes no more effort to print a copy of the original, if that's on file electronically, than to print an abstract, since in either case an original physical document need not be located, retrieive, copied and returned to the file.

Good question. If you look at this sample of a Hawaiian certificate of live birth, there are quite a few more fields of information available to track down. For example: if he was born in a hospital and its location, his mother's address and her "mailing address" at the time of his birth, signature and name of parent or "informant" who applied for the certificate, signature and name of the attendant to the birth (doctor, midwife, other witness).

If the birth record confirms he was born in a hospital, then a doctor and their signature would be recorded for review. If he was not born in a hospital, then someone had to affirm the specific information that was provided. That, too, could be reviewed along with any signature by the parent or "other informant".

Last year, two birth announcements from two Hawaiian papers were posted in the time frame of O's alleged birth. These announcements were supposedly obtained from information through Vital Statistics posted at the time. The address posted for Mr and Mrs Barack Obama does not match any known address for either Barack, Stanley Ann, or her parents. In fact the address posted was traced to another couple. If the paper's announcements are valid, then the information supplied on the original certificate of live birth is likely false. Could other information on that certificate also be false?

Obama added a piece of information about his birth circumstances in his book, "Dreams...." Obama indicates he saw relevant information pertaining to his birth when he wrote about being 8 pounds, 2 ounces, yada, yada, yada. That information is not on the certificate of live birth, but rather would come from a hospital/midwife/or delivering attendants that are provided with a "formal" delivery, not an at home incident. Such a form might include weight, length, doctor signature, nurse signature, foot prints, ....? Now if the "Certificate of Live Birth" through Vital Statistics does not confirm he was born in a "formal" delivery setting, there again would be another point of insonsistency.

At this point. I doubt more will ever be released to prove/disprove O's birth certifiate information. Dr. Fukino affirmed that she has seen the vital records and that he was born in Hawaii. She has not affirmed that the signatures are legit, that his address of birth is legit, or anything else on that certifiate is legitimate. She has said she believes what's presented, case closed.

Now as far as the "Natural born citizen" claim.......that's a matter of whether one believes the Constitution's natural born requirment to mean of two parents who are both citizens, which Obama cannot claim if his father is Barack Obama Sr.

Maya Soetoro was, indeed, born in Indonesian and does have a Hawaiian Certification of Live Birth, just like Obama, but her COLB accurately reflects her birth place.

His US citizenship at birth can be defined no matter where he was born..it is just some people posting have not read all the laws that pertain to the matter.

What can’t be easily defined is his natural born status UNLESS he was born of two US citizen parents on US soil. This is the only condition with which the glorified clerk in Hawaii could definitively state he was a natural born citizen.

This means she is saying that Obama Sr IS NOT HIS DADDY...OR she is usurping SCOTUS.

It seems we have yet another version of Dr. Chiyome Fukino's statement in the L.A. Times, entitled: "Hawaii tries again to snuff Barack Obama birth certificate controversy."

"In yet another quite possibly futile attempt to silence the zombie birther controversy that won't die, the director of Hawaii's State Department of Health, Dr. Chiyome Fukino, has just repeated her statement from October that she has personally and with her very own official eyes seen the "original vital records" regarding Obama's birth in Honolulu's Kapiolani Maternity and Gynecological Hospital on Aug. 4, 1961."

So not content with suggesting that Obama was born in Hawaii, Dr. Fukino now seems to be divulging even MORE once sealed Obama records. Information not even revealed on Obama's fake COLB.
