That’s funny! But, I expect there is truth to it, since we have several different sorts of glands on the underside of our eyelids that secrete either oil, mucus or water-based lubricants.
I think she also wears contacts and even the soft water-based ones can become uncomfortable if your eyes are dry.

The Blue Dogs could just switch. They can dump Pelosi then. Boehner would respect and work with them I’m sure. They’d be happier as Conservatives (Republicans) anywayI saw where Loretta Sanchez is one of them. No way I would welcome her. I'd be very concerned as this bill can pass someway/somehow.

Pelosi isn’t about to lose on this issue.
She strong-armed Cap and Trade thru the House - albeit with a bare minimum of votes and she won’t let this one die.
If she loses this vote, it’ll call into question her political abilities and she could start to appear (a) vulnerable and/or (b) not ready for high leadership.
There’s gonna be a lot of weeping, wailing and gnashing of teth at this closed-door meeting as Pelosi and the majority whips start putting the screws on all the first and second term reps who don’t wanna vote for this thing.
