And the same guys hiring the head of their AA Studies program I’m sure aren’t the ones providing legal counsel.

That isn’t what I’m saying. I too want all of it released. I’m saying why play the 4 minutes of silence between transmissions. There is so much dead air between transmissions. Why do you want to listen to that. Give me the actual audio, every single word of it and be done with it.

$50,000 ... just wait for the total cost of the study, experts, implementation, new positions, oversight committees, neighborhood outreach efforts, mandatory officer training, new performance standards, etc. etc. etc.
What I’m saying is the tapes at 911 run continuously for 24-7. They record every single thing that comes over the air to include everything that isn’t said. Dead air. They don’t only record when something is said. Maybe Fox was cutting out the dead air. That’s all I’m saying. As a supervisor in my PD there were times I requested tapes from 911 of an incident. The incident may have happened over a period of an hour or two. I got all of it including all the dead air when nothing was said. I sat there and listened to all of it. I would have one of the secretaries transcribe the tape for me.
There was a female officer (believed African American) that worked with Crowley and just laid into Obama, saying she would never vote for him as well as Deval Patrick again. She and Crowley hugged after she gave him huge support and props. It was rather touching.
Race was not mentioned and Fox is saying all of us were misinformed.
There is a video from CNN (according to FReepers only shown once - guess why!) with an interview of officer Crawley’s colleagues. Two of them are Afro-American. Both appear very sensible, very eloquent, but underneath it all they are furious. The support their colleague to the hilt. The lady says that she voted for Obama and she believed in him, but no more, never again.

No. He is a screw-up (in my opinion) because he took an attitude with and was disrespectful to the woman who called. Again, just my opinion.
I don't understand. Are you saying your department records dead air, 24/7 when transmissions are not taking place? If so, why would they do that when it's easy to set up voice activated recordings?
