He was substantial enough to get into Yale anyway, politicized enough to protest racism and the Vietnam War
Gates’ pull is also political. He is close to the Clintons and initially supported Hillary Rodham Clinton’s presidential run. He has met Obama often enough to host a fundraiser for the Illinois Democrat’s successful U.S. Senate race in 2004 and Gates has said that he contributed the maximum allowable amount to Obama’s presidential campaign.

Like I said, this is gonna backfire. Any cop - and anyone who appreciates the job they do - 98 percent of us? - will be sickened by the sellout of this good and decent cop who has done nothing wrong.

There’s no doubt in my mind that Obamas’s minions have been active on the phone to the city and threatening them if they don’t do this.
Maybe but what’s it matter anyway? You cannot put the toothpaste back into the tube. There is NO WAY they can spin this favorable to ONOTHING because if they could it would be done by now. We all know they have looked into the back ground of Sgt Crowley and come up empty or else we would have already been subject to him being blasted as a closet racist long before this.
The only thing that can help ONOTHING now is for Crowley to come out publically and admit he made a mistake and and tried to incite Gates to become personally abusive and disorderly so he could arrest him. But then we have the witnesses who have backed crowley’s original story. What about them?
I don’t see that happening but who knows what threats may have been made to whom.

If it was the microphone for his in car camera and he wasn’t out of range then we should hear most of what on. I’m not sure what it means that it was transmitted back to HQ unless he kept his radio keyed, but that makes no sense at all. That would mean he had only one hand to use. The other was keying the radio. I’m thinking in car camera.
