While I think Reagan would have won against Carter no matter what, I think his landslide was due to the country being absolutely fed up with Jimmy Carter and the way he was running the nation...... I know, I was around during those times and it wasn’t pretty -— and Obama is off to a fast start to make Carter look like he was a good president. Even ACORN cannot outdo a pissed off electorate that turns out in droves.
1) Because she has two years before primary season kicks into gear. That's two years for her to chip away at the media-manufactured negatives with a positive, pro-liberty, pro-freedom message.
2) Because two more years under Obama's National Suicide Pact will do wonders for Palin's message and the media's credibility.
As far as ACORN goes, no one in our history has ever had to deal with the likes of them. Either we're going to let them continue to steal our votes and destroy our system of government, or we're going to start fighting back. That's going to be the case no matter who the candidate is.
Because after resigning, she now has the time she is going to need to raise the hundreds of millions of dollars she will need to battle the probably over a billion dollars that -11bama and his minions will throw at her or whoever the Republican candidate will be in 2012 (that is if she does indded decide to run).
She also has the time to go round the country, campaign for conservative Republican candidates, let the people get to know the real wonderful Sarah, launch a full time counter attack against -11bama’s professional assassins, smear and slander merchants, and go full out on a counter attack against -11bama himself, for the many crimes he's already commited against this country in just 6 months.

In just 11 months, she's managed to get the strong, support of nearly half the country, undying support from most conservatives, and is more popular amongst Republicans than anyone else. Remember, she had zero name recognition, or support outside Alaska, before she broke into the national scene 11 months ago. How many politicians can go from zero to such national heights in just 11 months?

You could same the same thing about -11bama. -11bama has 97% support amongst black voters who are by far his strongest base. Black woman have more abortions than anyone, so blacks are no more reproducing as fast as Latinos, and blacks by themselves are not large enough a group to win a national election. Now if you look at the latest Rasmussen pools, you see that -11bama’s poll numbers amogst whites, is dropping like a stone, after his let the mask slip off, and showed what a rabid black racist he is, over the Gates arrest.

There have always been felons voting illegally, just not in such numbers as in the recent past. ACORN and felons voted in the 2000 elections too(we all remember Florida don't we?), and the Dims still lost. Same in 2004.
At the rate at which the dear leader is going, his poll numbers by 2012 could be low enough for him to be so thoroughly beaten, that even stealing votes by ACCORN can't save his sorry butt.
Meanwhile, the fightback against the criminals from ACORN has already started. The Republicans on the Hill just released a report calling ACORN a criminal enterprise. It's up to Republicans to keep an unrelenting, unremitting, steady attack against the ACORN vermin at a very high level, and shine the light of daylight unto their criminal activities, till 2010 and 2012 elections, and get as many of them prosecuted as possible in an effort to frustrate their ability to steal votes as much we can.
