First, well explore the assertion that there are 46 million uninsured in America, 46.7 million to be exact, about 15% of our population. President Obama wastes no time throwing the 46 million figure all over the place and uses it as the reason we must act on passing a nationalized health care bill now.

Here is a link to the full House Democrat Health Care Plan in PDF. In Section 1233 E & F, pages 426-433, you find the part about mandatory end-of-life counseling for anyone over 65 years of age. A lot more provisions now being documented at that site.

Also, here's a large image of the Democratic (Obama) Health Plan chart-another Obama empty promise. This is the one the House democrats are censuring. Email these links or the image to everyone you know.
Obama and all those pushing his radical agenda are abject marxist ideologues. Their "fundamental; change" is nothing more than a destruction of the American free market and fundamental republican principle.

At least 12 mm are citizens of the US. Part of this ‘plan’ is to usher in amnesty.
Make the elderly, infirm, disabled, undesirables die, to pay for illegals for free. If necessary, confiscate wealth from all undesirable groups.
SB only 12 mm....
I'm getting tired of 'so called conservatives' telling us not to talk about certain things, so could you and your friends please outline what we can talk about??
One thing is for SURE. If I lose my PPO plan and get forced back into a “compliant” HMO plan (read the bill!), I have every intention of making certain individuals VERY miserable.
This Bridgitte Wallace gal has a future.
How many of those 15% are illegals?
How many can afford insurance and choose not to?
VA hospital care is pretty much an example of what we could expect from government run health care. Insuring illegal aliens and killing off the nation's elderly (thereby saving Medicare and Medicaid $$$$ seem to be off the talking points by the president). Any politician who votes for or supports this legislation deserves to be voted out of office and to join the thousands upon thousands of unemployed in our nation.
VA Hospital patients exposed to HIV, hepatitis
Officials said about 3,260 patients at a Veterans Affairs hospital in Miami should be tested for HIV, hepatitis and other diseases after receiving colonoscopies with equipment that was not properly sterilized.
2nd KY widow settles suit over husband's VA death
Of an additional 34 cases the VA investigated, 10 patients died after receiving questionable care that complicated their health, officials said. Investigators could not determine if the actual care caused those deaths.
Penn officials to testify on VA's cancer treatment
Steven M. Hahn, chair of radiation oncology at Penn and the health system's top medical physicist, will face questions about how the problems in the VA's brachytherapy program were able to persist for so long. Ninety-two veterans got incorrect doses of radiation from February 2002 to June 2008.
46 million.
Take away 11 million uninsured children now covered under the 2009 SCHIP Act.
Take away 20 million illegal immigrants.
You’re down to 15 million.
15 million times $ 6000/yr for health insurance equals $ 75 billion. At most.
So, why do we need a $ 1.5 trillion plan, again?
Of the 46 million, about 10 million are non-citizens.
Figure another 10 million can afford insurance but choose not to purchase it or are eligible for an existing program like Medicaid/SCHIP but are too uninterested/unmotivated/lazy/insert other adjective here to sign up
Of the remaining people, probably half are between jobs. They are temporarily uninsured. They will find work and get insurance again.
My best estimate is that we have about 10 million people who want insurance but cannot get it. Obama and the RAT party want to overhaul the entire system for a tiny percentage of the population. It’s obscene.
None of the above is to deny that we need to do something to make insurance available to those who want insurance but have no realistic access to it.
Just my two cents.
No idea what you are talking about?! Jeez.
