Mormons: The Most Conservative Religious Group In America
That's according to a new report from Pew, released today and based on data from the group's 2007 U.S. Religious Landscape Survey.
More Mormons (60 percent) identify themselves as conservatives than any other religious group; they also lead every other group in GOP party identification (at 65 percent)--much higher than the general population in both categories

Thanks for your compassion!
I never read ALL the materials anyway—just enough to affirm to myself the main events etc.
BTW Grig,
I am not denying that some posters go over the line, just the idea that anyhing near a majority or even a sizable minority of posters engage in that behavior.
It has been my experience here at Free Republic, that most posters, posting anything that would be considered negative by a Mormon, do so from a position of honesty, logic, or a set of facts. There are ad hominem attacks, but as a proportion of Mormon-related posts, it is very small.
Nothing is perfect in this world, not even FreeRepublic, but FreeRepublic, of all the conservative sites I have been on is the most objective and the posters are allowed the most amount of freedom.
Thanks for posting the LINKy...
The night of eoither the first of second debate, Romney said something like that...
He started off with a three hanky story about a close personal relative who had died during an abortion...
My heart went out to him...
I thought he was going to follow that up with something about being against abortions...
I felt betrayed when he said that is why he had pushed abortions ever since...
What a sick twisted scummy excuse for a human being Romney is...
When he starts his “my beliefs are very dear to me” I have to ask “What have your dumb beliefs got to do with the deaths of 50 million unborn babies ???”
There are atheists who are against abortion...
“Thou shalt not kill.” But, everyone knows that is not absolute. Unless you are a pacifist, you believe it is not a sin to kill if you are called upon to do so by your country. Also, it is not a sin to kill in self defense.
Why do you hate Mormons?
SoConPubbie: Nobody is attacking Mormons or Mormonism.
If you're religion cannot stand up to intellectual inquiry, what good is it?
If you cannot take criticism, either constructive or otherwise, based on a logical train of reason or a set of facts then the problem rests with you, not those questioning the validity of Mormonism or even the actions of someone calling themself Mormon like Mitt Romney?
I direct your attention to the infamous "Hose the Pigs" thread, posted by our FRiend, Grig, for those who may not have seen it.
Grig: Recently some of us have decided to take a more proactive approach. Rather than try to wrestle the pig into taking a bath, we are just going to hose it down. We will actively define our faith here rather than just respond to accusations.
Jim, any chance this thread could be permanently unlocked?

LOL, you’ll find my posts on quite a few of those threads correcting the false accusations, lies, poor logic and spin posted by those who have a narrow agenda that smacks of religious bigotry. If you think the discussions that take place here on Mormonism were actual intellectually honest discussions, you are sadly deceived.
No. If a young daughter “makes a mistake,” abortion would not be justified. Pregnancy was the logical consequence of her voluntary acts. Likewise for all the other circumstances you mention.
Rape is another matter.
and cause Mitt Romney to push abortions due to his mothers feelings about the death...
Huh?
****
I am going to watch “Clean House” where everyone feels rewarded or good after the purge!
I’m not so sure about that.
Southern Church of Christ and Pentecostals are very conservative

I am going to watch Clean House where everyone feels rewarded or good after the purge!
