Rick Perry just stated on Mark Davis' show that Texas may use the 10th Amendment to reject Obamacare.
Go Rick.
Sorry, that was meant fot post #95
So if he’s ready for a squeeze he better be ready to squeeze back by NOT sending any money to DC.
Perry is running for governor and anything he does at this time is suspect.. The Feds have too much control over what monies are allocated back to the states for any of the states individually to buck them other than some posturing. If Perry is ready to with hold all fed monies the state pays in they he may get their attention.
Obama needs to have this defeated by the House and Senate where the legislation originates. Go Blue Dog Democrats.....
What happened to the “Hutchison”?
Here is a link to the full House Democrat Health Care Plan in PDF. In Section 1233 E & F, pages 426-433, you find the part about mandatory end-of-life counseling for anyone over 65 years of age.

Also, here's a large image of the Democratic (Obama) Health Plan chart-another Obama empty promise. This is the one the House democrats are censuring. Email these links or the image to everyone you know.
Obama and all those pushing his radical agenda are abject marxist ideologues. Their "fundamental; change" is nothing more than a destruction of the American free market and fundamental republican principle.

...and on the lighter side, take your mind off the Obamanation for a few minutes and enjoy some beautiful Western US scenery slideshows.
If you promise to keep it under your hat I'll tell you a little secret that only two or three other people know about:
EVERY summer I tell myself I'm gonna get out of this oppressive heat/humidity of East Texas and move to the mountains of what would broadly be considered within the Big Bend area of Texas. Just over 700 miles from where I am and STILL another 100 miles or so to the State line. The Lone Star State is a BIG place with a BIGGER attitude.
;^)
I’m glad he didn’t say he would challenge ObamaCare’s Constitutionality in federal court. Screw the federal courts! The Great State of Texas would declare ObamaCare to be Unconstitutional (i.e., State Nullification).
No, I did not see that. Looks like moveonorgy got beat to the punch.
From Anymouse:
Attention Austin FReepers,
From Americans for Prosperity;
: This Saturday in Austin, proponents of a government-run health care system
: are planning a huge publicity stunt to raise support for the $1 trillion
: health care plan in Congress.
: This misguided rally is being headed up by Texans for Obama, and in
: attendance will be none other than Congressman Lloyd Doggett. Last week,
: more than 150 Central Texans protested the proposed health care plan
: outside of Rep. Doggetts office apparently, he missed the message.
: We need to counter this with a HUGE showing! Doggett needs to know that a
: vote for government-run healthcare is a vote AGAINST our ability to direct
: our own healthcare.
: We dont want bureaucrats between us and our doctor!
: Plans are to meet at the AFL-CIO Hall on 11th Street & Lavaca and at 1 p.m.
: The government-run health care supporters will march to a nearby park
: (about a block away) to form a Human Texas Shape to represent 5.5 million
: uninsured Texans. We need to outnumber them!
: Time: 1 3 p.m.
: Date: Saturday, July 25
: Place: AFL-CIO Hall, 1106 Lavaca St # 200, Austin, TX 78701
: If you live in the Austin area or plan to be in town Saturday, make plans
: to join us! Bring your protest signs!
Thanks. I saw that on the TX board yesterday.
I already have another function this PM.
Mega dittos from this Texan.
Do we have the courage to do it?
There are a lot of liberals (commies) in Texas now...
boodmarked
Using it or not, I’m for it.
bttt
Bingo! This big hair guy is a poseur.
Not you will hear from me.
Then I will be sure and go prepared to end it all when I attend.
Perry to Obama, “Adios MoFo!”.
