The guy forgot keys, and jiggered his way in, and the cops were called, so far so good, the police investigate...my understanding is that at that point Professor Gates is already in his house, shows it is his house, and at that point gets arrested for disorderly conduct. I think it is fair to say any of us would be pretty angry and that the cambridge police acted stupidly and there is indisputable evidence that blacks and hispanics are picked up more frequently for no cause...
