Rep. Russ Carnahan was mocked at a townhall promoting the Democrats' health care plan. At one point he is asked ""if it's so good why doesn't Congress have to be on it?" Rep. Carnahan also claimed the CBO said the health care plan would be "deficit neutral." That is untrue.

There was a Senator, I believe, from either Oklahoma or Texas that introduced a bill that would have required members of Congress who voted for the health care reform be required to enroll in it. Not just themselves, but their families too. I don’t remember this guy’s name, but he’s a doctor. I also don’t recall if it passed, I don’t think it did.
Actually Sue Myrick of North Carolina is introducing a bill to that effect. I heard her on the radio yesterday — she said that the “cram down” for this bill is crazy and she’s never seen anything like it. She also stated that Americans should have the freedom to choose their healthcare — and that if this travesty passes, all of Congress AND the Executive Branch need to adhere to it as well — no EXCEPTIONS!

Remember, American polls showed that we thought we were on the wrong track before Obama was elected. The problem is that the Dems thought America was complaining about going too far right - WRONG! They are realizing that America was complaining that BOTH the Reps and Dems are taking us too far LEFT!
Of course, truth never gets in the way of a good politician (especially Dems) and they took this out of control freight train off the tracks to the LEFT! Watch it rumble, bumble and burn!!!
Unreal. Seniors get a pretty sweet damn deal on Medicare, the perscription drug deal, etc. They have to pay something but the quality is very good.
If this crap passes, the quality of their healthcare will eventually slip to third world level. Currently we are extending seniors lives out very far almost to the point that rationing is needed.
Wait til the baby boomers aka people who grew up on fast food start hitting the system. I think they are less healthy and heavier than their parents. I bet our life expectency drops.
A good investment if ObamaCare passes will be funeral stocks. There were a few companies with cemetaries and one that mae caskets. The funeral business will boom.
I can just hear the pastors at the funerals now “well granny did so love Obama.”

It seems they are... but Obama doesn’t care. I think the reason he doesn’t care is rooted in what they found in Honduras........ did you know the deposed President had computers in the residence pre-loaded with votes for him? Certainly this is how Chavez keeps winning in Venezuela (the machines are made there) and most of the machines we use here are made in Venezuela..... put in context with ACORN and goons at polling places and there is a future pattern here.

I’m sure they didn’t read one line of the bill... they don’t even know what’s in it. Heck, even Obama himself said today that he doesn’t know what’s in the bill...
Fauxbama will be a lame duck before the end of the year, and every, every democrat and republican alike that sided with him on his stupid policies will be looking for new careers if they are up for election in ‘10.
