There are Amish in the surrounding areas and there are Amish businessess there but there is also an influx of criminals from other areas.
I dont know what is wrong with the police chiefs of the United States. THe other day I watched on a police video cam, two police choke a man to death for having some drug that he put in his mouth. They kiled him.
However let gangs take over a city or town and instead of running them out of town, making it very uncomfortable, rousting them and teling them to get out: the police and leadership let the property values drop, and have law abiding people become prisoners in their homes.
