I watched a little of Krissys pathetic 1/2 hour show with all rats all the time kissing up to the Dear Leader at any and all costs and it was pathetic!
Then I switched to CNN with all the kronkkite love-in with the same result and no better with bald Harry sitting in for old, feeble and liberal Bob.
I missed MTP all together.
Time to make an egg salad sandwich with Pepperidge Farm Sourdough bread, lettuce and mayo followed by two cup cakes,a large bottle of wine and some more mango daiquiris.
Then I can take the rest of the shows.

http://www.pjtv.com/ Obama is making his big healthcare speech at 9, only a half hour later.
Coincidence?
Im not prepared to say but the participation of John Goodman alone in our forum should give the President pause, not to mention some bad news about the cost of his proposal from the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office.
What fascinates me about Obama is that he is so convinced that he is doing the right thing. His mother must really have doted on him. An intelligent person in the current situation would normally be filled with doubts. Not our President. He thinks he knows. What a weird man.

I like Bill Bennett. I think he is a good and decent person. But he has one huge flaw. He wants so badly to see the best in people that he absolutely blinds himself to what is right in front of his eyes.
When Barky got elected, he convinced himself that he would have to govern from the middle because that would be the sensible thing to do and, despite every bit of evidence from his entire life, he would now be something different.
He has now done this with Sotomayor and convinced himself that she said really good, sensible things in the hearings and she will now feel bound by them and that is how she will act as a judge.
Even smart people can come to stupid conclusions.
Don Quixote was foolish and idealistic and quite mad, but he wasn’t evil. Obama is ice cold and power-mad, with a hate-on for certain groups. Anyone who supports killing babies who lived through botched abortions and withholding care from the elderly and infirm is evil.
The answer to your rhetorical question is, of course, that we DON’T need health care reform.
Which is not to say Americans are not worried about health care. Indeed in this past year health insurance, provided by husband’s employer, 1/3 of the premium paid for out of his paycheck, spent over $300,000 on our combined health care.
I got a rude awakening as to the cost of health care but go with me...as difficult as it was to navigate over four hospitals, wheeling and dealing with our private health care provider and I did, needed a spreadsheet, caught them making mistakes, made more than a few mistakes myself...but the fact is that America’s health care system via private health insurance provided by the employer WORKED just fine for husband and I...both of us who might well be dead were it not for America’s fine, fine health system. Husband for sure would be dead as his recovery counted heavily on constant MRI’s as he had a brain infection. Here in America we practically have drive-thru MRI’s on every corner whereas in other countries the wait for an MRI is up to six months.
Husband no doubt would have died, his death blamed on his initial diagnosis of pneumonia and no one might be the wiser. I had a quadruple bypass, in the hospital on Monday, out on Thursday...taking Lipitor to keep my cholesterol down...37 bucks a month with insurance...and Metformin to stave off Diabetes...ten bucks for a three months supply from Walmart.
We are both healthy and living proof that there’s nothing wrong with America’s healthcare system.
Of course you gotta be working most times, there’s COBRA and husband and I have this. We gotta pay big premiums but only for two years. The law prevents the employer from dropping us and leaving us out in the cold and hey, it works.
But it’s scary being helpless and unsure of how it all works. I understand this. So when Americans are polled about health care, well they typically express trepedation, concern. We all have ourselves, loved ones, children. We worry if they’ll be cared for properly.
All is required is for an American to keep an eye on all things medical. It is illegal for anyone to be turned away from an ER room in America and a simple phone call, in most cases, will, in some form or fashion, being about needed medical care. Believe me, I’ve been researching this greatly of late. Thus even those without health insurance will more often than not, thru persistance, research and if all else fails, a trip to the ER, get needed health care.
Doctors often donate some of their time to the poor, there are a myriad of charity programs around to take care of various ailments...lookit, no American is left to die in the street, most in almost any financial circumstance will get needed medical care with proper pursuit.
As for rationed care, and the HMO’s...hey, ALL medical care is rationed and frankly we Americans do a fine job of it. We’ve all lost loved ones...cancer, heart attacks...at some point the time comes. We can handle it for God’s sake and often common sense rules. I bet all of you reading this has had a loved one refuse outrageous actions to save their lives. There are kind and clean hospices...hey we DAMN DIE HERE IN THIS COUNTRY AND SOMEONE TELL OBAMA WE DO IT JUST FINE AND WE DON’T NEED THE GUBMINT TELLING US WHEN AND HOW.
So back in the days of Hillary Americans expressed concern about health care but once we understand that the same gubmint that handles our vehicles at the MVA would dishing out our care, we said no thanks.
Same right now. While we worry, first, American has a fine health care system, if a bit convoluted and we all know it...but it works. People aren’t dying in the street. We may not walk into the doc’s office, get our needle or scrip, walk out without spending a dime, run to the drugstore and pick up the meds...we have paperwork and at times it gets messy.
But the gubmint ain’t gonna make it better no matter what the libs tell you.
Yet what better way to control a citizenry than by having power over their health care and whether they live or die?
Sometimes I think he knows he should be more conservative but just doesn't for some inane reason.
He probably thinks too much about feel good things that don't allow the basics of a nation to shine through.
Simple - because health care is another symptom that politicians can agonize over before they treat it with a cure that is worse than the illness.
It all goes back to one simple problem - 50% of the people in this country are below average, and they need jobs to make our society work. Jobs that provide a wage sufficient to put a roof over their heads, food on the table, and health care benefits for all their immediate family members.
When our country decided to not be competitive in manufacturing and at the same time bring in illegal labor to do the jobs Americans don't want, we put a strain on our ability to pay our spending bills that we have not addressed.
As a result, the greatest example of bipartisan cooperation was developed - the ongoing use of the national debt to fund spending habits. The last time the national debt was decreased was the year ending December 31, 1960, Eisenhower's last year as President.
Besides being the first black President, Barack Obama's legacy will include being the first President born after the last time we didn't spend more than we brought in.
And, getting back to the point, as long as we continue to elect people who don't have to act responsibly, we will continue to have raging debates about out to pretend we are all acting responsibly, which is not the same as taking responsibility.
The hope is Barky's overreach will displace lots of Dems as we have another temper tantrum.
On a related note, I hear violent crime is down in DC since citizens have been allowed to arm themselves.
Our only counter remains here on the net, talk radio and the rest of the New Media. And we are using it well since his numbers are tanking and fast.

And for any shopping we can afford to do these days, we need to BOYCOTT the alphabet networks’ and lib cable show advertisers, especially Overbite’s show ... we need to get a permanent list going. I know we’ve started this before.
First one on my list: Progressive Insurance (Filthy rich lib Peter Lewis .. cohort of Soros and Clinton. Note the
‘progressive’ name?)
I can’t STAND their stupid commercials, but I don’t have a car anymore, so other folks will have to do the boycotting.

Who is Peter Lewis?
Media Monitor | By Arne Steinberg | December 3, 2003
Lewis, who proudly describes himself as half screwball, half businessman, showed up at a meeting with a Cleveland City Council president wearing a Lone Ranger outfit.
Billionaires Peter Lewis and George Soros have each pledged $10 million to America Coming Together, a newly formed political organization designed to defeat President Bush in the next presidential election. But who is Peter Lewis, the less well known of these two money men?
A billionaire, Lewis is the chairman and chief executive officer of Progressive Corporation, the fourth-largest U.S. personal auto insurer, which insures high-risk motorists who can’t get insurance anywhere else. Stories in the media depict Lewis as a philanthropist who has given $50 million to the Guggenheim Museum in New York and $55 million to his alma mater, Princeton University.
But what are they leaving out? A leading U. S. business reference manual, Hoover’s Handbook of American Business l999, actually described Lewis in print as “a functioning pot-head.”

I may be behind on this and have not watched any of the Sunday shows but..........
has anyone asked the question which is really the elephant in the room...........
“Will members of Congress and the WH, staff included, be enrolled in Obamacare along with the general populace”?
Anyone?
” Wow, I thought Gregory had forgotten how to challenge statements by guests, but now McConnell is on and David seems to have recalled how to do this.”
Condescending and snarky , not the I’m your friend let me make it easy on you that he uses with his Dem guests.
” Obama is ice cold and power-mad, with a hate-on for certain groups. Anyone who supports killing babies who lived through botched abortions and withholding care from the elderly and infirm is evil.”
Great description. There’s always been something creepy about him and you have described it very well.
Ah yes, the Sunday Talk Show thread, a resource people have come to rely upon.
Rod, that sounds yummy.

Passing along this information whenever the chance presents itself.
Jesse Jackson biological father was Noah Robinson. (yes he was a bastard child). Mother married Jackson and he was adopted.
Michelle Robinson Obama spent quite a bit of time in the Jackson home as a child and even baby sat for the Jackson Children. Youngest daughter calls her “sis”.
Michelle’s and Jesse’s ancestors are both from the Friends Plantation area of South Carolina

Will members of Congress and the WH, staff included, be enrolled in Obamacare along with the general populace?
In the Senate Health Committee, Senator Coburn introduced an amendment to the effect that Members of Congress would be required to enroll in the public plan. It passed the committee by a vote of 12 to 11, but analysts believe it will be stripped out of any final version of the bill (surreptitiously, to avoid public outrage).

I believe that the bills being considered in the House exempt Congresspeople from being required to join the public plan.
