Good to hear from you too, rod! Unfortunately, that sort of lunch treat today has been a rarity lately - it’s been quite a while since I’ve been able to indulge like that... /g
Most of the time for the last year it’s been sandwiches, salads, and the like. Had to take care of my mom during her last days, and it’s been pretty much 24/7. She died a few weeks ago (end-stage dementia/Alzheimers), but I was determined to keep her at home where she wanted to be, and I did. God is merciful.
Time to get back into the real world now, however, even if it’s only to watch as “the One” makes everything go boom... I’ll make some popcorn if somebody’ll grab some beer... it’s gonna be a heck of a show... /g

Ten years ago - OVER TEN - I had a male cousin in Pennsylvania who needed a liver transplant for many, many years. He died ten years ago so that took place 15 to 20 years ago.
I still fondly remember Dick Cheney's appearance on ALL of the talk shows after then-candidate Bush named him as the VP candidate. What a wonderful thread that was!
And the best part was Cheney's last appearance on CNN, with Wolf Blitzer GROVELING to him and saying, "Mr. Cheney, do you remember me when I reported from the Pentagon? Huh? Do you?" Blitzer was intimidated. It was great!
I hope I get to see some shows like that again, which is why I try to hit this thread every week. You never know when history will be made!

Medical and surgical treatments pioneered by the USA is now the solution for those in Canada, England, Sweden, etc. who can afford to fly here and pay for it - while American citizens will soon be subject to rationing and huge taxes that illegal aliens will be handed free.....
This is simply a transfer or savings, earnings, property from those who actually plan and honestly work to the huge minority classes that cannot even speak like a minority in the Bahamas or England and blames Whitey as they snort another line - as Hussein Junior confessed in his book he “had to” because of Whitey - and as habits like smoking cigarettes are ones beyond Hussein Junior’s mental capacity to control and quit - we can only surmise that cocaine use is something Hussein Junior will not discuss under oath &/or hooked up to a lie dedector and 220volt electric welder cables

Walter Cronkite pioneered and mastered the role of television news propagandist. He gave a false sense of trust, reassurance and accuracy that fooled millions for so long in a day where there was no alternative news sources.
The effects of Conkite's work can still be found today where 60 or 70 million people still trust the media's positive words, while our country is systematically being destroyed.
