See what I’m saying?

The two of you, who appear to have a respectable knowledge of phylogeny, can’t even agree on the concept of species.

It then is difficult for ‘me’ to accept your concepts on evolution, if you can’t be sure of the phyla you are predicating your case on.

A theory has been developed to explain how and why that modification occurs (the theory of evolution).

I apologize. Seems you already provided your definition.

And it is a good one.

but a chijuajuah and a Irish wolfhound, which are both Canis lupus familiaris, cannot.

If you were the chihuahua, you would understand why.

Pencils and light poles can be classified as the same species if I get to do the classifying but it doesn't mean there is any relationship between the two.

“How do you define Evolution?”

As a philosophical version of Winchester Castle.

So you’ve been chasing a red herring or two yourself.

Now is your chance to show those red herring in the two posts I have made to you on this thread. I'll even make it easy for you, posts 241 and 247.

Except for the 'fact' that they both 'evolved' from a tree.

You’re hired! You get to sharpen the trees.

To expect to have the same level of detail, is preposterous.

No argument from me.

Who wrote the book of Genesis, and when?

God did before time began. Besides that, Moses evidently put it on "paper" a "few" years later.

It kinda throws a ‘monkey wrench’ into the works

No, it is obvious that DNA is not exactly the same from cell to cell. Mutations do occur and that is one reason why some cells become cancerous. I asked Dr James Shapiro many years ago how mutations would get into the germ line for a sexual creature.(the implication being that Darwinism cannot be driven solely by accidental mutations to the cells of the sexual organs) I never did get back with him on the answer, but it still seems relevant to me. It seems logical that all cells in a sexual animal are prone to mutation.

Football team or King Arthur's Court?

Yes, individually. But it is group behavior that produces 'evolution'.

Maybe, but what i was referring to is house/castle built by an heir to Winchester rifle family money.

She had a psychic or such tell her to build, build, build and she did without purpose or concern for cost. I think you can visit it in California.

So that's your view of EVOLUTION?

No! Any good stuff I keep for myself. It’s that selfish gene the Darwinists keep talking about so don’t blame me.

Moses lived for a very, very long time.

Which brings up the question, if some men lived hundreds of years, why/how did we lose that in our genetic programming?
