Rebellion? Your average Congressional district has 10,000 conservatives, of all stripes. In any given election, perhaps a few dozen get involved seriously in a campaign.
Republicans go to fundraisers and write checks and then go home. And most of these folks ain’t that conservative and they ain’t that rebellious. The only people out of the street this month doing political whatever are the ACORN types who are canvassing in favor of ObamaCare, raising $$$ by going door-to-door. That is what activists do in the summer months, before the weather changes.
I would vote to go canvas neighborhoods againzt Zero care - give me the talking points and send me out.

These people would not be out there canvasing if they were not paid. Now they are paid by you and me.
They are getting paid for it too.
