There have been many times when I wished that FR had a kind of "database" thread like you describe. Patriotic quotes, evil leftist quotes, etc. that weren't commented on but were there for us to refer back to. Maybe you could call them "reference" threads or something.
If you have any ideas along these lines I'd appreciate hearing about them. There is so much great info on FR that we can't search because we can only search titles. It would be great to have a way to keep this knowledge handy and accessible.
I think if the information conforms to the guidelines, it could easily be started on a thread in the blogger section. Reference thread for quotes..etc. Post a link to it whenever you see fit, threads, your home page, advertise it in various ways ...
