Breaking: Major has orders revoked, by questioning Obama's legitimacy

This story has been slipping under the Main Stream Media Radar for some time now.

U.S. Army Major Stefan Frederick Cook Filed a restraining order asking for legitimate confirmation that his Commander in Chief was legitimately in Office, giving him his orders to Deploy to Afghanistan with his unit.

Today in a stunning development, the Military rescinded those orders.

This has set a precedent heretofore unknown. The entire US Military can now not only question it's orders, a requirement of their duty when they believe that an order is given illegitimately, but can expect that their orders will also be rescinded should they question the legitimacy of the CIC who is the ultimate Authority in Command. In other words, Obama.

"Minot or Wyoming looms large in the Captain's future."

I don't think so. He a non-ob, IRR officer. I was reading the story in the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer, and it gives much needed information. Maj. Cook volunteered, as an Individual Mobilization Augmentee, to serve with an active duty unit from SoCom. That was in May. His orders were issued, at his request, on June 6th. Shortly thereafter, Cook filed his TRO request with the Federal District court.

I'm guessing SoCom didn't want to deal with the grief. So, they revoked the orders and I'm guessing they'll deal with it in either an Article 15 hearing, or just do an AdminSep. Story over.

That might be but pulling back the order on a Major might not be easy. The case should still be in play as he is still under the power of the CIC.

Just something someone I consider very sage about these things said once. She was referring to Hillary Clinton. This lady is pretty deep into Chicago Politics and told me this was gonna be a problem darned near a year ago. Before I even really knew a dang thing about Obama’s birth certificate.

She’d be preferable to ‘that one’ because she’d definitely fire up the conservative voters in 2012....and 2010.

Better the devil you know than the devil you don’t.

This is just a mess constitutionally speaking.

I don't think I follow. Revoking, or changing orders is as simple as sending an admin message. It's very easily executed and is done everyday of the year, hundreds of times a day.

Maj. Cook volunteered for active duty, then filed a TRO to keep himself from deploying, on a deployment he volunteered for. Very strange.

When this story broke several days ago, I assumed all the facts weren't quite yet in evidence. Now I know, that was indeed the case. As I pointed out, his orders are withdrawn and the Army will draw the case to a close through either NJP, or a straight AdminSep. It's done all the time.

Chris Matthew, Keith Uber-man, the Kossacks and other left wingnuts would explode.

What would the Black Panther Party do?

“Iran isn’t going to nuke anybody, they’re not stupid just because they’re Muslims.”

Iran is run by radical extremists. Until you have the ability to think like one you can’t say that with certainty.

Well, there’s some shifting gears here. If the Major refuses orders from the CIC because he’s illegitimate is one thing. If it’s for something else please explain again.

Question. What will the rest of his unit think of this? Will they also file the same papers with their names substituted for his? I hope they knew what he was doing and supported him, but if they go and he does not, that can’t be good, either.

I can't imagine they are too far behind him. He is setting an example by leading. He succeeded in challenging Obama directly and O blinked. Undoubtedly the entire military knows by now.

Most of the military supported Bush over O. O is in big @ss trouble. He needs to make this go away soon and effectively regain control. O's handlers are smart but shortsighted. They should have seen this coming when they decided to push O and they did not. Now they are desperate.

If the guy gets in a car or plane accident we will have front row seats on something this country has not seen in 160 years. Hopefully we have learned something about how to do CWs and if it comes to that this time it will be shorter...

Here's the link to the Columbus Ledger story filed just tonight...

Army's revokes deployment orders for soldier who said Obama isn't his president

Again, Maj. Cook was not a part of this special forces until from Southern Command that was deploying to Afghanistan. He was/is a non-ob reservist who volunteered for the Afghani deployment in May of this year. Less than a month later, those deployment order were issued at his request. Then, a few days or weeks later, Cook then filed his application for a TRO with the Federal District Court.

The Army, I'm assuming, didn't want the hassle of fighting a TRO requested by a man who volunteered in the first place. If there's any disciplinary action that the Army wants to pursue, they'll probably do so via an Article 15 hearing. If not, they'll likely just remove the Major from the Army via something called an Administrative Separation. It's not all that unusual, especially for reservist. I hope that helps to clarify.

It is, but we can handle it. The mess the idiot is about to accomplish is ridiculous. Just ask your new FReepers.
