ST LOUIS Where did it land? Was it a strike or wasn't it? Why didn't the network choose a better camera to shoot from? Those were the questions that viewers of baseball's All-Star Game were asking themselves at home after Fox elected to show President Barack Obama's ceremonial first pitch at the 80th All-Star Game from a tight angle....Obama's southpaw delivery landed a little short of the plate, but Cardinals star Albert Pujols(notes) was able to save it by quickly scooping it up....Though Obama was roundly cheered by the All-Star fans, his live presence still didn't attract the applause that George W. Bush did during a taped announcement by the four previous Presidents before the game and some boos could even be heard among the cheers.

GOOD!!! I was hoping they would wipe that smug look off his face. Would like to see the pitch from a different, wider angle.

When he starts his little sissy jog from the mound, after the pitch, he does that side-to-side “I’m cool” thing with his head. BARF. He thinks he is ALL that. He is nothing but a phony sissy with ISSUES.

I’d like to see Governor Palin throw out the first pitch. She’d show Obama up for sure.

More Obama forgery; this time from the baseball press box!
To: Batman11
Michelle would not only have gotten it to the plate, she would have burned a HOLE with it through the catcher's mitt...and it would have continued on through the brick-wall backstop.

I’d soooo love to hear that taped response and the cheers for W....it would have been the ONE reason to be there, for me.

Question, Do you think that Hillary could have thrown better with her broken elbow?

As usual MSM's coverage of Obamassiah's First Pitch at the 2009 All-Star Game ends up like all his "covereage": Style Over Substance!!

thanks for putting that up, damn it felt good seeing that again.

Did feel good. Economic damage done by Obama in 140 days (to the economy) IMHO, far worse than 911.

My Dad wouldn't let me throw like a girl. Wouldn't let me bat, or shag flies or pick up grounders like a girl either. As a kid if anyone said I did, I'd slug him. LOL!
Watching Obama throw is painful. Embarrassing. And it makes me VERY happy.... ;)

Do you have to develop your arms muscles during youth to throw like a boy?
My dad didn’t let me more the lawn either until he realized that I did a better job than my brother and I didn’t run over the mower cord.

Yeah...........they can't even admit the guy can't throw. When I watched it live and saw that they didn't show the plate, I knew he was controlling the coverage. Shameless.
Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if, on closer examination, it wasn't his teleprompter that really threw the ball. :)

Good question. I think it's mostly a question of being taught how when you're young, and practicing a lot.
I really wanted to play ball (and was unfortunately raised at a time when girls didn't have a chance), so I worked hard at doing it right.........just in the outside chance that a Cleveland Indians scout would be in the neighborhood. :)
(Mower cord? That takes me back!)
