[history]
I'm scheduled to be on MSNBC this afternoon to talk about the controversy over the pulled Free Republic thread about Malia Obama.
The segment should air live around 3:30 p.m. EDT barring any breaking news, etc.
David Shuster and Tamran Hall will be co-hosting the segment.
I'm heading out the door in a few minutes.

On February 7, 2008, while hosting on Countdown with Keith Olbermann, Shuster discussed Chelsea Clinton's campaigning for her mother Hillary Clinton, her efforts to influence superdelegates, and her refusal to answer any questions by the media. When his guest, Bill Press, pointed out that Bush's daughters campaigned for their father, Shuster noted the different access rules in each case and responded, “There's just something a little bit unseemly to me that Chelsea's out there calling up celebrities, saying support my mom
doesn't it seem like Chelsea's sort of being pimped out in some weird sort of way?” The Clinton campaign demanded an apology and stated that Clinton might not participate in any further debates on MSNBC.[5] Shuster was temporarily suspended from all NBC News and MSNBC appearances for his comments, rather than having to issue an apology.[6] Before the suspension Shuster had engaged in a heated e-mail exchange with a Clinton staffer in which he defended his remarks.[7] Shuster’s two-week suspension[8] from on-air duties ended on February 22, 2008. "Fox news is the only news station I watch."Me, too. I made an exception to MSNBC today because Kristinn was on.
Did turn Fox off for a week during WackoJacko family antics and burial rites.

Shuster, Obama lacky and of the state run MSNBC, was determined to drown our guy out when he brought up the slurs from Kos. Didn’t quite suceed.
Good job.

Yow - you guys rock!!! kristinn - love the way you stayed on point: Shuster actually backed down at the end. I hope he's cowering in a corner, sniveling and sucking his thumb.
Jim - loved your blast at Parry. Where is the little creep, anyway? Not so brave anymore, is he?!

Yeah, high stress over not having the facts of the case before he interviewed Kristinn. He wasn’t even in Kristinn’s league. Beneath him...

I also heard that someone looking to the left while speaking is lying. (not meaning that they are actually looking at something)

I NEVER thought that my “little” comment would cause all of this. I guess we know the Freerepublic.com is extensively monitored my the “Dark Side”. WOW I will be more circumspect from now on.

“Teabagging Day” Shuster, while filling in for Keith Olbermann on Countdown on April 13, 2009, said the 2009 tea party protesters were “teabagging,” “going nuts for it,” “whip[ping] out the festivities,” and wanted to “give President Obama a strong tongue-lashing and lick government spending.”

Body language experts say that blinking eyes more than normal is a sign of stress, lying and deceit.LOL - Well then this Shuster needs a vacation because he is stressed, lying and deceitful to the nth degree! What made it all the more amusing is that he has these really long eyelashes (something like Michelle's false ones) and when he was blinking at a 100x per minute rate it was hilarious.

Yuck...that shuster is weird! Talking about those sneaky cheney crimes keeping the big mouth congress in the dark about a program not even put into place... The liberals are acting as if their polling data is telling them that if Cheney ever runs for office again they are going to get their asses handed to them by Mr. Gravitas. It's remarkable that they are still so in fear of him.

even in worst case sceanrio to have an articulate, polite strong spokesman on there and get the Freep site named will bring independents to the site, just to see what its about You might be right. However, with all the slams against FR that Shuster managed to get in, I just don't know.
To: my_pointy_head_is_sharp
They got their FR slam in there, probably to people who have never even heard of FR. Well. If it were anything other than MSNBC we might get some new visitors. Since it is, though, net effect is probably zero.
