Well, let’s see if he can get his personal “vices” that he denies to his North Korean countrymen (like, you know, FOOD) smuggled in to his cell in Hell.

If true, it’s a death sentence at his age.

I had a feeling that’s what it was when they said he had pancreatic problems.

Still time for the little sack of crap to seek some redemption.

The Mayo Clinic calls pancreatic cancer “one of the most serious of cancers” because of the rapidity with which it spreads. Pancreatic cancer is rarely detected in its early stages and, as a result, is a leading cause of cancer death.

Because the pancreas is a storage depot for digestive enzymes, anything compromising to this organ is potentially very dangerous.

Signs and Symptoms of Pancreatic Cancer
Signs and symptoms of pancreatic cancer often do not appear until the disease is quite advanced. Most symptoms are non-specific and varied, and may often as not be caused by other conditions. Early diagnosis is crucial, so it’s important to consult your health care provider if any of the following symptoms persist:

Appetite loss
Change in urine and/or stool color (urine may turn orange or reddish brown; stool may turn yellow, reddish, or become gray or chalky-white)
Clinical depression has been reported in association with pancreatic cancer, though the associated mechanism is unknown
Diarrhea (less common)
Digestive problems
Fatigue
Indigestion (especially with fatty foods)
Itching
Nausea and vomiting (in advanced cases)
Pain (dull, fairly constant, mostly localized to the middle and upper back, and the upper abdomen; upper abdominal pain may radiate to middle or upper back; worse after eating or when lying down)
Sudden-onset diabetes or a sudden change in blood-sugar control in diabetics
Trousseau sign is sometimes associated with pancreatic cancer. This symptom involves the spontaneous formation of blood clots in portal the blood vessels, deep veins of the extremities, or in superficial veins throughout the body.
Unintentional weight loss
Yellowing of the skin and eye whites (jaundice)

As someone who's watched a family member die of pancreatic cancer (it's a horrible cancer to have) depending on how far along Kim Jung Il's cancer is, he can have anywhere from 3-6 months to live. Depends on any treatment of course.

On a similar note, I can't think of a more fitting way for him to die. The most painful cancer on one of the most brutal dictators the world has known.

A fitting end.

Once Obama hears this, he is gonna cry. Nothing will make him sadder then seeing a dictator die, especially someone he can relate to

Pancreatic cancer life expectancy is very low. Once a person has been diagnosed with the condition, general pancreatic life expectancy is only 5 to 8 months, though 20 percent of pancreatic sufferers will live at least 1 year. The pancreatic cancer life expectancy for sufferers living over 5 years is only 5 percent.

The pancreas, (an organ that secretes enzymes that help aide in digestion), is well-hidden in the body. Despite its size it can be hard to get to even for skilled surgeons. Of course, the location of the pancreas only affects doctors being able to see the tumors, making the condition harder to diagnose in earlier stages. There is also the element of the speed through which pancreatic cancer tumors spread.

Additionally, the tumors can get into areas of the body where they are virtually impossible to expel, even through top-notch chemotherapy or radiation therapy. Examples include the blood vessels and the lymph nodes.

The people that have a longer pancreatic life expectancy have pancreatic tumors that have not spread to the more dangerous regions of the body. They also get treated through surgery, where parts of the pancreas as well as the tumors themselves get removed. However, there are many cases that even having the ‘best’ pancreatic cancer will only increase one’s pancreatic life expectancy minimally. Of individuals who have the easier forms of pancreatic cancer, only 16 percent will live past 5 years.

In conclusion, pancreatic cancer life expectancy is very morbid, and is definitely not pleasant news to those who have pancreatic cancer.
