Why don't you man up then and post what my motivations are?

To be clear, I made no accusations against Free Republic. That was only in your mind. There are posters on Free Republic and there is Free Republic. The two are separate. I don't expect Jim Robinson to publicly sanction every post that is made on Free Republic with some sort of imprimatur. The thread was pulled, which seems to say to me that something was happening on the thread which did not get the imprimatur of the site's overseers.

Is it so bad to admit that some posters did not exercise wise judgment on that thread? Isn't that better than obfuscating our way through a fog with the opposition? Isn't that what we accuse them of doing? Wouldn't we be better off simply trumpeting truth on every occasion?

It could have been doctored, but the names of the posters with the most offensive posts are all real freeper names and are all still around. Some are newer, but none of them seem to be plants from my cursory review. And the most offensive posts come all from one person who is participating quite heavily in this very thread.

Ok. You are a troll who has posted this to disrupt a thread investigating the wrongdoing of a journalist. Your motivations are to muddy the waters and run interference for the KOS blog. You made unsubstantiated accusations to delegitimize this thread and provide material support for a corrupt Alinsky style operation. You directed the DU, KOS, and HufPost blogs to a screen captured image of the pulled thread. When challenged you deny any wrong doing and fell back on your feelings. This too is very Alinsky and typical of a sleeper.

You have not yet defended nor clarified you initial post to this thread. When called out, rather than identifying who the offending poster was (you could not. That was not the reason for your post) you obfuscated trying to turn the arguments around against those that caught you. That too is Alinsky, but you are very poor at it.
