I haven’t participated in this conversation but I’ve read all of it.
I just want to note that in that thread, the picture was posted, and several people apparently hit abuse and several people jumped his butt for posting it.
That is the FR I know. I was on a thread like Saquin was talking about, the thread was pulled. Me and a couple others were jumping on them for their “vernacular” (I’se wants my piece of the pie) and again, several people jumped on the few who were doing that and the thread was pulled.
FR has 300,000 members (I think that’s what I read). There are going to be a few jerks in that amount of people. By and large, they seem to be good decent folks who love God and Country.
Having said that, I do wish we would not post anything near racist, it’s embarrassing to be coupled with people like that. People don’t pick the color of skin they’re born under but they do pick their politics, plenty to get after there!

I’ve been on this site for a long time and have punched abuse many times on folks for a number of reasons.
What we are seeing now is agent provocatures slipping in and riling folks up to discredit this site, it’s what socialists DO.
People, it’s only going to get worse. The more we fight
socialization the harder the tactics will become, but if
we believe in our nation and way of life we have only two
choices submit or fight. Communists tried to kill me once, I will not forget, I will not submit, I will not surrender, I will fight with every tool at my disposal.
FreeRepublic is such a tool, why do you think they are
going after us? It’s because they are afraid of our effectiveness.They are after Sarah Palin for the same
reasons and with the same tactics.
The struggle for freedom is hardly joined, we must all do
what we can to say NO to socialization and yes to
individual freedom, we are bombarded every day with socialist pc. messages designed to destroy our individual nature.
There is no right under the constitution to NOT being offended, in fact in days of individual freedom
the offended party was free to take it to the street
and settle things. Now we are so gelded that it takes
lawyers, a judge, a jury and all of congress and the senate
to deal with what should have been a personal exchange.
Baaah, I’m sick of it and am damn glad I live in the country.
