The islamic regime is interested in:
a) cementing it’s power (as we have seen it’s pretty shaky)
b) blackmailing the world
c) deterring attacks
Nuclear weapons (or just the capability to produce them) will guarantee these three things.
With nukes they can feel safe from attacks, and are able to hold the region hostage, control the oil flow and prices and demand concessions from the West.
The warfare against Israel will continue through terrorist proxies like Hezbullah and Hamas.

If Israel does attack they might as well take out the Hizbos in lebanon, the Hamas thugs, the syrians and the rest of their enemies in the region. A preemptive strike will be tantamount to declaring war on Iran and company.
Wonder if Israel has the fortitude to do this?
