It does seem that some people have to dismiss certain things, with explanations that require an even higher degree of “tin-foilery” (LOL...) than the original idea that was presented...
It would seem that many people cannot live with an answer that does present a mystery and one that cannot be explained by ordinary means, or the explanations that have been presented — and have to invent *something* or *anything* to dismiss it... :-)
Whatever is going on with crop circles, it’s clear that they exist (i.e., no doubt about it). And also, they do present some very intricate patterns. Heck! I have trouble with circles and straight lines on a sheet of paper and simply over a few inches of space. To see such circles and lines and patterns over hundreds of feet is quite an amazing thing. I’m sure that designs can be created over hundreds of feet of space, but I would like to see the “technology” demonstrated and done quickly.
Here’s what I would like to see, with all of this. I would like to see a *highly documented* demonstration by anyone (whomever says that they can do these things) in which the same scientific characteristics and parameters that are found in these unexplained crop circles, can be shown to exist in these *demonstrated* ones.
I’m just talking about a plain and ordinary scientific experiment in which “repeatability” is demonstrated which exhibits all the characteristics and measurable parameters of the originals.

There was a TV documentary where the guys who claimed to have made the original crop circles repeated the process for tv and produced the identical results.
They had boards fastened to cords. They held the cords in their hands and stepped on the biard compressing the wheat stalks. They merely did it over and over producing the pattern. The radial was controlled by a cord streching from the center.
Since then the complexity is merely a measure of the planning.
It IS impossible to do the larger more complex circles in the times involved.
Researchers have been at fields at a given point in time.
an hour or IIRC 40 minutes later in some cases, a very large complex crop circle was fully there.
And, there were NO . . . as in 0.00000000% human foot prints on the soft field soil going into or out of the whole field since the last rain etc. etc. etc.
Yet the naysayers’ explanations are outrageously MORE preposterous than the alternative ‘other’ explanations.
And yet the naysaywers think of themselves as
MORE rational.
Clearly they are addicted to cluelessness in the matter for probably psychodynamic reasons.
It does seem that a lot of people require an explanation for everything. Even if it is a lousy explanation. I have come to accept that the cause of some things is a complete unknown and may always be. Looking for the cause is fine but I don't need an interim explanation to hold me over until reality is actually revealed to me.

I'd like to see it too. I'm amazed that the Myth Busters haven't tried to make one. Those guys have a lot of tools and talent at their disposal. Or that a cable contest show hasn't been done. We've got to be careful though. Soon we'll be destroying crops all over the world for entertainment. Circuses with no bread.
