A 350ft crop circle of an ancient Mayan symbol, said to be a sign of an impending apocalypse, has appeared next to Silbury Hill in Wiltshire. The giant pattern - thought to represent a traditional Mayan head-dress - appeared next to the tallest prehistoric man-made mound in Europe last week. Members of the crop circle community believe the mystic symbol is a signal of the end of the 5,126-year Mayan 'Long Count' calendar on December 21, 2012 Karen Alexander, a crop circle enthusiast, said: "This is one of the most interesting crop circles I have ever seen. It is definitely a Mayan symbol and we are sure it is linked to the Mayan calendar, which ends in 2012. "It appears to be a warning about the world coming to an end when the calendar does. For the ancient Maya, reaching the end of a cycle was a momentous event, so we are taking this crop circle very seriously as an indicator of a possibly huge event in 2012." Last month a 400-foot crop circle depicting a phoenix rising from the flames appeared in a barley field in Yatesbury near Devizes, Wiltshire. Crop circle theorists believe the patterns are created by UFOs during nocturnal visits, or caused by natural phenomena such as unusual forms of lightning striking the earth.

Let's take it logically. There are dozens of these things all over the world. Plenty of people witness the finished product so you would think at least one would be witnessed under construction. It would take dozens of people weeks to accomplish. Look how long it takes a Hollywood movie crew to construct something this complicated.
But theres nothing else that makes sense. If it were highly-advanced UFOs from another planet, they wouldnt make the obvious errors you see in many of them.
First, as I said before I don't have to have an explanation just because a good one doesn't come to mind. Secondly, on what basis do you say that aliens don't make mistakes? Thirdly, I didn't see any mistakes in the one you posted above. I also didn't see any sign that of where a large group of people entered and left the field. Or made any misstep outside the design which would stick out like a sore thumb and be impossible to repair. Once you crush a plant it never looks the same.
I don't know either.
I always thought they were a one night phenomena.
So did I but I haven't spent a lot of time studying these stories. Some time but not a lot.
Same here.
With GPSs these things are relatively easy. You should see some of the corn mazes they come up with.
Which errors?
Now these are amazing! Especially the second one, I cannot believe this was done by humans...I just don’t know..?
The look like some of the Summerian tablets.......
Thanks for the pings. Interesting.
Another puzzle piece.
Looks like an interesting book.
Can you summarize the most interesting parts to you?
A different crop circle showed a Phoenix.
We shall see, what, if anything, such puzzle pieces are associated with.
World ending? I will not pay my taxes then
There are scientific peer reviewed agricultural journals documenting the very significant scientific differences between man-made crop formations and
‘other’
made formations.
Some have been observed being formed with spheres of light flitting about within them.
Wrong.
Research the topic better.

Identifying REAL Crop Circles!!
Hello all! Im sure most of us are sick of all these repeated threads on crop circles, discussing their patterns, meanings, authenticity, etc....I posted this reply in another thread about finding out if these CC’s are legit, and thought it deserved its own thread. Here is my idea to determine man made or not!
1 - Radiation, clearly if these are made by boards and humanns, we arent really going to have anomalous radiation readings. Maybe there is a way to do this without having an ET UFO? Im not sure, tell me if you know!
2 - Stretched Nodes, i think this is the best way to determine if this is indeed a legit crop circle! How on Earth could men and women with boards do this? Changing the structure of the plant itself is incredible! Clearly something i doubt could be done overnight in a field.
3 - Buried plates, i also read of another case where golden and bronze plates were found under the crop circles with a design of the crop circle on the plates. Im not saying that these will be found on every crop circle, even if it has radiation and stretched nodes, but WHY NOT LOOK?!?!
These are 3 things I really look for in research of crop circles to determine their authenticity. I am not sure if the recent crop circles have been investigated by scientists or not, but i think it would be a great idea! How could we have this studied by scientists though..I think that is the main question. Any other input is welcome! Im looking for any other clues to determine authenticity.
Also, the ground is exceedingly dry.
And, there’s often microfine iron dust within the circles.
And, the seeds from within the circles sprout quicker, grow taller and are more drought resistant.
They are between 33° and 33° 33' The chapter on crop circles.

What do you think are the implications of those findings?
Thx.
Which was the bulk of his written works. Measurements from the Temple in Jerusalem e.g. Many many others; it does not appear to be coincidental. The book expands on Isaac Newton's study of the scriptures.

Hell, man, it takes little more than a well-organized team of lawn mowers carrying GPS receivers with waypoints programmed in. Same method as corn mazes.
As for "world-wide," we've got a fine example of how people from all over get together and plan and discuss things right here at FR. And gaming communities are far more organized than we are. It's easy to predict that there's a "crop circle" community out there somewhere.
