“I just can’t see the MSM turning on him, they have stuck their necks out too far for him to this point.”

Well, there’s the enemedia, then there’s the conservative media, and there’s us and there’s our target audience - the weak bammy support...

We’ve got our work cut out for us, to be sure...but his numbers are slipping and that due to the facts on the ground - the unemployment and crazy spending that’s putting us into a hole!

“The argument for more stimulus is simple: American consumers have abruptly switched from spending to saving in an effort to fix their sorry-looking household balance sheets. While that’s healthy in the long run, in the short run it’s disastrous for people who work for a living and need people to buy their goods and services.”

My sorry-looking household balance sheets???

Who the hell do they think they are calling my financial situation sorry-looking???

I am married, no kids, almost 45 years old, and I have zero debt...Yep thats right, zero...That condition was achieved last January...Took us 8 long hard years to do it...

And the irony, and good timing, for lack of a better word is that I have been unemployed since late February...

And yet still I feel this giant yoke of BS put upon me after I put off my own personal debt...

There are quite a few people up in D.C. that need to be lined up and...Never mind...

If anything I am just about ready to be very unreasonable to any politician who cannot get their own sorry-azzed house in order, minority or not...

Stop telling me my situation is sorry, and get your own crap in order before you start telling me my business...

Asshats, every single one of them!!!

Liberals never acknowledge their failures, they just claim they didn’t have enough money or enough time.

I used to think this was strong - some years ago - but liberalism is a mental disorder...people need to be cured of it. Sometimes it takes strong medicine..

So in a sense, liberal politicians steal from us and complain about the takings, and then we do not send those very same people to prison for any appreciable time???

;-)

The poll numbers are encouraging. But there is a problem as well. I would have expected his numbers to be in the dump by now and they are not close yet compared to his actions.

people hate his policy, but like him personally.
they haven’t connected his actions yet as a mark of his true personality coming through.

We do have work to do, it’s like trying to wake someone up out of a deep sleep, they are still having a wonderful dream of hope and change and blaming bush.

I spoke with my uncle yesterday who is very well educated and he said “well it’s gonna take time to get out of the mess. Bush created it in 8 years, we can’t get out of it overnight”

i was just dumbfounded.

“...on July 7, Obama adviser Laura Tyson, stressing that she was expressing a personal opinion, said the package approved in February was “a bit too small,” according to a Bloomberg news report.

Is this the same lady that promoted fantasy economics in the infamous Clinton WH?

“Obama does it on a whole new insane scale, but the thinking behind it is just the same on the Republican side (expansionary monetary policy combined with deficit spending, resulting in inflation, which is just another form of taxation).”

A misleading statement repeated often by the MSM is that “When Clinton was president, we reduced the deficit and had a surplus.” True, but the budget was balanced not by Clinton, but by the Republican controlled Senate with Bob Dole and Trent Lott as majority leaders. Check out this chart...

http://blog.heritage.org/2009/03/24/bush-deficit-vs-obama-deficit-in-pictures/

When the Dems took control of the Senate from 2001 - 2003, the deficit spending shot up each year. From 2003-2007 when Republicans had control of the Senate, the amount of deficit spending was reduced each year. Then, in 2007 when Harry Ried and the Dems took back the Senate, you see a huge increase in the deficit in 2008. Now that all checks and balances are gone, you can see the scale of spending with Dems in control of all three branches. Truly scary.
