Papal Message Seeks "Global Authority" for Economy

VATICAN CITY (Reuters) - Pope Benedict called on Tuesday for a "world political authority" to manage the global economy and for more government regulation of national economies to pull the world out of the current crisis and avoid a repeat.

The pope made his call for a re-think of the way the world economy is run in a new encyclical which touched on a number of social issues but whose main connecting thread was how the current crisis has affected both rich and poor nations.

Parts of the encyclical, titled "Charity in Truth," seemed bound to upset free marketeers because of its underlying rejection of unbridled capitalism and unregulated market forces, which he said had led to "thoroughly destructive" abuse of the system.

The pope said every economic decision had a moral consequence and called for "forms of redistribution" of wealth overseen by governments to help those most affected by crises.

Benedict said "there is an urgent need of a true world political authority" whose task would be "to manage the global economy; to revive economies hit by the crisis; to avoid any deterioration of the present crisis and the greater imbalances that would result."

The very same people who brought us the present crisis, and are trying desperately to make it worse, will be the ones who will control any putative “World Authority.” The US Constitution means nothing, to them. The moral authority of the RCC means nothing, to them. There is exactly one authority they respect: POWER.

The Pope should know this. He should know that, at most, they will PRETEND to agree to the principles he has espoused, and then ignore them. But, by then they will have achieved complete POWER, with his imprimatur.

AT LEAST because the global government will care no more about it than they do the 6.X billion people they want to murder to reduce the population to 200 million.

It is beyond laughable that subsidiarity would benefit one poor person in the name of love or anything else with a global government in power—particularly the one already in power covertly and increasingly rapidly more overtly.

Is grossly inadequate as a principle, fig-leaf, wall, boundary, lofty ideal

MOSTLY because

the satanic world government would not HESITATE a microsecond

because of subsidiarity

to perform whatever tyranny they had already purposed to do.

It is a hollow NOTHING in the way of the global tyranny long planned by the same folks with the same goals as the Pope listed HE ADVOCATED FOR A GLOBAL AUTHORITY.

It’s utterly nonsensical to even pretend that

would have limited Hitler’s Gestapo, for example—even a microsecond.

It would not have spared a single Jew from the gas chambers because Hitler would have laughed at the very idea that it should hinder him in the least.

And the looming world ruler is far worse than Hitler at Hitler’s worst.

The Pope is clueless if he does not know that.

And if he knows that and still wrote or signed such meaningless drivel—how admirable is that?
