I make his food, he’s got gi issues and it seems I’ve hit on the perfect recipe for him.
In chicen broth I pouch 6 or 8 eggs. Add 3 cups of rice, later a cup of oatmeal. 1 cup of chopped spinach, olive oil as well.
I stir glucosamine into it and give him doggy vitamins.
He doesn’t seem able to handle anything else.
Sounds yummy. Tell the truth now. You serve that for supper sometimes, doncha?
Does he have a delicate GI tract? My parents’ last shepherd did, she was a pip. This doggie also, the only thing she could tolerate well was ground chuck, boiled with NO seasonings (except my mom put a little garlic powder in it but really, it even smelled bland) mixed with cooked rice.
My mom cooked it for her every day. Poor doggie also had bad arthritis for the final couple of years. It was sad to see.
