Every time Palin has attempted to be part of the political debate, the liberal establishment has trashed her. That's what fear does. Won't be any different in 2010 or 2012, should Palin choose to enter the political arena again.
The leftist scumbags will just continue to bounce on Palin every time she stands up and speaks out. Palin's resignation hands the liberal Democrats even more ammunition to use in their never ending attacks against her.

Why is the liberal establishment afraid of a "political lightlight?"

Why? Because she's a "political lightlight?"

They’re going to attack anyone we put up and go after them more viciously if they are threatening, as Sarah certainly is.
If we start picking our guys by who they’re going to attack less, we might as well nominate one of them. Oh, wait, we did that last time...
Maybe ‘quitter’ is the new ‘too old for office’...who knows?

The liberal establishment doesn’t matter as much as it used to. You haven’t started voting Democrat have you?
Or have you?
