Rove is right about one thing. The media will continue to follow her every move.

Perhaps that is the goal. Now she is freed from the role of Governor of Alaska, she can take the fight to them without bringing any harm to the people of Alaska. As long as she was serving in that position, they were going to keep trumping up false ethics claims. She has removed that option.
