Just spoke with people VERY well connected with Palin's DC operation.
Reports that she has announced to staff that she is permanently out of politics are NOT true.
Three caviats:
1: She may have told Alaska staff that she is out of politics forever. 2: She may have told Alaska staff that she is out of ALASKA politics forever. 3: Word may have not filtered down to DC yet.
That said, senior DC people very close to her think she is very far from out of politics.
Obama looks like he’s channeling when he does that pose.
Being a rabid, unquestioning fan of Palin is not a prerequisite to being a FReeper. I for one have always been put off by her.
I wouldn’t put it past those Chicago mobsters to put out threats on her children’s lives. They are that low. They’ve already tried to burn down her church.
If she’s running she has to beef up her security detail and get supersecurity around her house and the kids’ schools.

I hadn't seen that. Do you have a source? Last I knew, Gov. Palin hadn't responded to that point, leaving us to wonder whether she had told the truth or had endangered her child.

Well, I am a fan and have been a financial supporter. However, blind allegiance to ANY politician is fraught with a history of disappointments. There's plenty of time for her to further communicate what's on her mind. So, let's just hold our water for a little while and see what occurs...
