You know, the way moderates and independents vote has little to do with policies. They vote on personality.

And Sarah Palin’s personality grates on most people who are not ideological conservatives. That’s why she can’t win.

Your perception concerning most moderates is correct, however, this is a numbers game and you cannot declare that they all think that way or they all hate her, they don't.

You could probably safely say a majority does, however, that is a perception created by a Media who hate her while she is not campaigning.

As she starts campaiging more and more, she will fight back and be able to better reshape the opinions of the mushy middle.

Perhaps.
I am willing to give her the chance. But she would also at the same time have to outperform other's vying for the GOP nomination.
I don't think she will be able to do either, based on what I've seen from her, including her most recent skirmish with David Letterman.

She has now pretty much joined the ranks of 'annoying celebrities' in the arena of American pop culture. Perhaps she would be better suited to join the cast of The View?
