The latest on eBay's 'Kenyan birth certificate'

I’m hoping these people come thru with a passable Birth Certificate. What is Ogabe and team gonna do? Say it’s a fake? Produce the original? I don’t think so....

They said they were turning the birth certificate over to Joseph Farah and WND. Have they done so? NO! How long would it take? Farah would meet them in a minute to get this if it existed.
This is exactly the nonsense API and Korir pulled. Continued promises of tomorrow but tomorrow never came.

I can’t wait to see the excuse when it doesn’t come through.

There is one problem with the Kenya story: are pregnant women allowed to get the type of vaccinations required for travel to geographic areas with sleeping sickness, yellow fever, and small pox (still a problem in east Africa during the 1960s)?

My neighbor, a medical doctor, said NO!

The doctors who prescribed Thalidomide to their pregnant patients well into 1962 and the thousands of mothers who gave birth to severely disabled babies would have been interested to hear from him.

I'll refrain from giving my opinion on the larger topic at hand, since we'd find ourselves in disagreement, but the vaccine thing bothers me, since it is demonstrably incorrect.

Mother and son maybe? Ages look about right. He’s biracial, hence the “afro-latino” hits I kept getting. No indication of her parentage, the name doesn’t rule out being Kenyan herself. Cordele, GA is the odd residence out of them all.

I don’t like what I see in the guy’s eyes and body language. Not an open person. Certain hints of military, but it could be an affectation.

The whole thing’s weird. I’ll be surprised if it’s anything beneficial at this point.

I would like to point out a few things ...
I have communicated with this person via eBay. All that they say has been true . They have been very up front. (I even have some totally independent confirmation of facts from another freeper)

The eBay listing was a total success (I heard it reached $1 mill in a day)yet was pulled 4? times.... maybe 5, because of our good friends at places like DU and KOS.

After pursuing every avenue available on eBay whatever plans the seller had were scratched through no fault of their own.... and a new strategy had to be devised.

I do not mind skepticism ...its healthy ....but the downright mean slams and preposterous paranoid fantasies are not called for here. You folks that are so sure this is a scam are just as bad as the people you accuse of being gullible. with the added weight that your mindset is exactly the same as those at KOS and DU.

I personally believe at this point that these folks believe they have the real document . They seem smart . If they do believe it its because they went to the Hospital and someone gave it to them . If they bought it from a street vender in Kenya or printed it themselves at Kinkos we will find out soon enough . The story is simple and plausible . The seller was friendly with Kenyans and I think had worked there ...he/she knew someone who knew someone. All it takes is a bureacrat willing to look up records in 1961. In New Mexico (where I live)to get though the bureacracy you better bake someone a cake.

The woman I spoke to at the Advertiser suggested I contact the Hawaii State Librbary for the info. That’s where I got it from just as it states in the blog on July 23. The librarian stated another woman had asked for the same thing about one week before I did.

That birth announcement is interesting as the printed address actually belonged to a white couple who were professors at a Hawaiian college. Both were dedicated left-wing activists now deceased (no surprise there!). The birth announcement is actually that of their child.

Did it ever occur to anyone that the Big 0 may be a man without a country?? What I mean is, he may not even know where he was born. I mean, how would he know other than what his mother told him. If he was told early on from childhood that he was born in Hawaii, even though he was born in Kenya, how would he really know. Just a thought.
