New tag line:

To paraphrase Machiavelli, "Indolence is the enemy of a republic."

I must admit that it gives me great pleasure to see a radical leftist like Abe Foxman squirming over a radical leftist Muslim in the White House.

These morons are "worried" over the guy they voted for just 8 months ago? Well, 'eff them.

This tyrant in the WH has no historical understanding of the ME, Israel, or the past. To him, all culture, history, has to be changed to some leftist nirvana. The most radical Prez we have ever had and I was here when FDR was still in office.

David Harris, the executive director of the American Jewish Committee... says, he is "hearing a growing number of questions and concerns about the U.S.-Israel relationship, and a sense that the Obama administration's response to the Iran crisis was slower than it should have been."
How farfetched.

I made a mistake before with the link and title. This is what Mr Rosenblatt put out before the election to soothe worried Jews who heard bad things, also known as the truth, about Obama. Mr Rosenblatt is precisely the type of committed Israel loving Jew who engaged in willful blindness prior to the election. He is very influential as EIC of Jewish Week.

..............................

Best For Israel? Don’t Believe It 2/13/08

In the same vein, you can study each candidate’s list of two-dozen or so advisers on foreign policy and concentrate on the one or two with questionable support for Israel as proof that the candidate would choose either of them to be secretary of state.

My point is that it all depends on how much you want to convince yourself that the person you oppose for president would be a disaster for Israel. But the reality is that each of the three remaining frontrunners would approach the Mideast conflict with essentially the same outlook and intention, and with the premise that Israel-Palestinian negotiations should be encouraged and supported, much along the lines of the Clinton and now Bush efforts.

Upsetting? Comforting? That’s your call, but don’t come away believing one or the other will be dramatically different when it comes to Israel any more than you believe the long line of empty pledges to move the U.S. Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

So base your choice on a host of other very real factors from personality to integrity to domestic issues to Iraq to a variety of foreign policy concerns, including acknowledging and identifying the very real threat of Islamic militancy.

But if you tell me you’re voting for one or the other based primarily on what he or she would do or not do for Israel, I’d say you’re only fooling yourself.

The current article is at least the second one he has written in the last few weeks. He appears to have the beginnings of buyer’s remorse.

'Well, they got what they voted for. But it’s good if they’re feeling a little buyer’s remorse.'

As they very well should. Had these folks been paying closer attention to the radical associations - particularly that of the poisonous anti-Semetic rantings of Rev. Jeremiah Wright which Obama claims to not have remembered hearing while attending Wright's church for twenty years - they would have probably thought twice before haplessly casting their votes.

I feel no remorse for my Jewish brothers or sisters- as long as they continue to support liberals and fail to realize conservatives are their greatest ally they will be doomed....

I tend to agree.

None of the leaders I spoke with think this administration wants to endanger Israel in any way. There are none so blind...

I almost feel sorry for these people. It's so hard when false beliefs meet reality. But mostly, I'm trying not to say, "I told you so!"

Oh well...at least people are starting to wake up. A little late, but better than never.

Several of those leaders, speaking off the record, account for the gap by pointing out that they are more knowledgeable than most people about the complexities of U.S.-Israeli policy, following it every day on a high level.

More of those nuances that us little people don't understand.

"... voted for ... and support some of his policies "

What were these people thinking. They vote for a man born in some other country, muslim upbringing, mentored by marxists, who spent 20 years listening to the Rev. Wright spew hate speak at america and americans.

What the heck kind of "change" did these people expect.
