AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and he’s not retiring until every American agrees with him, do NOT doubt him, with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (that’s Rush, for those in Rio Linda),the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! America’s anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A Real Man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander in Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do—that’s host. Get ready to what you were born to do—that’s listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

“Currently, coal is used to meet 22 percent of America’s total energy demand and generate about half of all its electricity.

American Coal. The United States has enough coal to last at least another 200-250 years, with reserves that are over one-and-one-half times greater than our nearest competitor, Russia, and over twice that of China. America’s known reserves alone constitute 28 percent of the entire world’s coal supply.”

http://www.instituteforenergyresearch.org/energy-overview/coal/

So, is the plan to shut down coal so as to export our resources to China & elsewhere?

The greatest inequities are geographic and would be imposed on the parts of the U.S. that rely most on manufacturing or fossil fuels -- particularly coal, which generates most power in the Midwest, Southern and Plains states. It's no coincidence that the liberals most invested in cap and trade -- Barbara Boxer, Henry Waxman, Ed Markey -- come from California or the Northeast. Coal provides more than half of U.S. electricity, and 25 states get more than 50% of their electricity from conventional coal-fired generation.

In Ohio, it totals 86%, according to the Energy Information Administration. Ratepayers in Indiana (94%), Missouri (85%), New Mexico (80%), Pennsylvania (56%), West Virginia (98%) and Wyoming (95%) are going to get soaked. Another way to think about it is in terms of per capita greenhouse-gas emissions. California is the No. 2 carbon emitter in the country but also has a large economy and population.

Rep. Waxman hospitalized after feeling ill

Rep. Henry Waxman (D-Calif.), a major player in the climate-change legislation that passed the House last week, was hospitalized on Tuesday, The Associated Press reports.
Waxman was not feeling well and checked into the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, his spokesman told the AP. There, he received “routine testing” and is “feeling much better now.”

As chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, Waxman was a driving force behind the climate-change legislation that passed with 219 votes last Friday.

Waxman’s office did not provide any additional details as far as when the congressman will be released.

If we give Liberals control of our lives...we will all just live and live and live.

Forget Michael Jackson. We all are now living in Neverland.
