WASHINGTON (AP) - A powerful House committee chairman with a central role in President Barack Obama's global warming and health care legislation has been hospitalized.
Rep. Henry Waxman, D-Calif., was not feeling well Tuesday and was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles for "routine testing," spokeswoman Karen Lightfoot said Wednesday.

Henry, you’re 70 now and under subzero’s new redistribution of income (healthcare), it’s time to fold up your blanket, leave the teepee and go out and do the ‘responsible’ thing.

Waxman is a human being like the rest of us. I take no pleasure in his pain.

I wonder if Whacksman was “the Snorker” credited on the early Mother’s albums?

He did not look well during his rant against Bonior in the House last week. He kept interrupting Bonior with demands that the Chair cut-off Bonior as Bonior eviscerated the Crap and Tirade Bill. In my experience, “Liberals” are the most bile-choked, vile people.

"Usually everyone is saying prayers and so on. Even with Kennedy last year."
Kennedy is a reprehensible human being but at least would be fun to have a beer with. Waxman has no redeeming qualities. He is a hectoring, humorless, thoroughly nasty piece of work.

You know there's a Dope song that perfectly describes what I think about this. The one that got made into a nice war video.

My first thought, upon reading this, was...”hooray!”
But then, I felt guilty, and ashamed.
I can live with that. :)

“Conservatives” are losing the bonds with these people that are required for empathy and sympathy. Some to a greater degree than others but the trend is there and it will accelerate. More importantly, they are beginning to not really care if others know it.
This is healthy... Its a small, but needed, step towards independence.

I won’t get personal about it, but it would be a good thing for this country if such a threat to national security, liberty, and freedom was in too poor of health to return to Congress.
