A simple ‘thank you, jla’ would have sufficed.
Rush would not touch this one with a “ten foot poll” if he didn’t know something....
Thank you, jla.
Why? Obama is a public figure - perhaps THE most public figure - so he would have to prove that the statement Rush made was knowingly a libel of Obama. Rush could certainly show a lot of reasons why he sincerely believed what he said (assuming that BO was actually born in HI and can prove it in pleadings to the court), thereby killing BO's case. Further, what's the damage? Seriously, what's the cost to Obama is Rush Limbaugh says "he wasn't born in Hawaii?"
Fauxbama has no libel case.
Ahhh, the written word.
Re4 “There are few on this forum who are consistently gentlemen and gentle ladies myself included.”
My intent was to convey the thought that, at times, most everyone here has bad days, is rude, aggressive, or just plain nasty — myself included.
Seriously, what’s the cost to Obama is Rush Limbaugh says “he wasn’t born in Hawaii?”
He can either cough it up, or resign himself to being a one-term, lame duck only six months into his administration.
I really don’t know what he’s doing.
My point was—if he thinks his stare literally has some kind of magical influence, it shows he truly is rather silly-minded.
I'm telling you, he's not giving the "evil eye" intentionally. Those photos capture his actual emotional reaction to people he hates. It's totally unconscious on his part. This is the real Obama.
If that’s the case, I see what you mean.
Obama is too much the narcissist to ever let a camera catch him off guard, if he can avoid it.
Image is everything to the man, because that’s all he’s made of. He’s got Zero substance.
The pics of him showing ugly to his opponents are rare moments, when his emotions have overcome his normal social mechanics.
Either that or he thinks he can shoot rays out of his eyes.
I used to imagine doing that when I was about seven. But I never actually believed I could do it.
Curtis has really got his eyes glued shut on the bc issue. He simply will not let go of the idea that “Obama has already posted his bc to the internet.”
His producer literally goes on a rant every time the subject comes up (as Curtis plays that evil music underneath - it’s really funny).
Yeah, Curtis has “seen it”, all right. Thing is, what he’s seen is a a digitally altered JPEG of a COLB.
I’m afraid that Curtis is displaying a serious liberal trait by refusing to listen to, or examine the evidence.
Patience... it will come. First tea party protests, then rebellion. Just like the first time.
At the rate he's going now, Obama isn't going to last til the mid-term elections.
What makes you think that he could possibly be elected to a second term, after all of the damage and chaos he's caused in his first SIX MONTHS?
TROLL!
(sorry, but it had to be done ;-)
I know of Curtis, have met him in DC at Rallies, but do not get the show in my part of Florida so did not know the background of the dispute or his producers attempt to tell him.
Thanks for the information. It certainly seems he has not done his own research on the many missing pieces to the Natural Born issue.
I am hoping that Rush has begun to research facts...maybe he can get more than I have been able to gather.
Good time to show what the Israelis found about O.....

Curtis simply dismisses the whole subject. He wants to battle Obama on the substantive issues, which is entirely approriate.
But, like all who denigrate the bc issue, he fails to see that it is perhaps the most substantive issue of all, concerning the alleged president.
Thank you.
He can either cough it up, or resign himself to being a one-term, lame duck only six months into his administration.
Legally speaking, that's no cost at all. No case.
