Can you tell me if there is anything to the “travel-to-Pakistan-while-it was-prohibted issue and direct me to a poster or the information about that?

This travel advisory from 1981 referred to by this opposition source (enter at your own risk), and a 1981 travel article (warning: NY Times ) also referred, is evidence that passage into airports in Pakistan with a US passport was not banned at that time (for tourists). Only overland travel (NYT) was prohibited.
