From what I've read, that's probably correct, given the fact that his father was not a US citizen and his mom may have been too young to pass on citizenship under the law at the time (but I could be wrong).

You can't "change" your American citizenship without approval from the US. Whether or not he was a citizen of Indonesia can't change his NBC status.

Never, unless hbe is ordered to present it by a court of competent jurisdiction, or unless some state requires such evidence for him to get on its ballot in 2012.

I can't speak as to what McCaskill though he was doing with that bill.
In the first place it wasn't a bill, it was a non-binding resolution - S.Res.511. In the second place, the resolution got the circumstances of McCain's birth wrong - he wasn't born on a military base - so it's basically worthless. It's saying McCain is eligible because of circumstances he didn't meet.
And yet it hasn't helped you one bit, since you ignore all the counter arguments to your statement.

No Hawaiian official has ever said that the original birth certificate on file shows Hawaiian birth, only that the document is on file in accordance with Hawaii law.
Laws of the State of Hawaii explicitly allow a foreign born child to have an Hawaiian birth certificate showing Hawaii as the place of birth.
$10, $10, and 0bama can have a real certified copy of his BC mailed to any independent media outlet.
So far he's allowed his minions to waste pushing $1,000,000.00 to keep anyone from seeing his real records.

The Certificate of Hawaiian Birth program was established in 1911, during the territorial era, to register a person born in Hawaii who was one year old or older and whose birth had not been previously registered in Hawaii. The Certificate of Hawaiian Birth Program was terminated in 1972, during the statehood era. www.hawaii.gov
He was born in 1961, if he were born outside of the country, his mom could have come back and registered him.
And no hospital will, without Obama's permission. They're barred from doing so by HIPAA.
Unless you plan on running for president why worry about it? The law changed I think in 62, so maybe you would, maybe not.
Once lawyers are involved, everything is subject to change, just like our Constitution is being crapped on daily by this administration, and neither party seems to care.
Law that is not enforced, is no law at all.
But that law isn't applicable to someone born in the US- the 14th Amendment governs in that situaition.
If he were born in Hawaii as he claims, then why the reluctance to release his birth certificate?
It ought to raise some serious red flags when he would rather spend over a million dollars to fight the release of his birth certificate rather than spend $10 plus the cost of postage to end the suits.
IMO release of his birth certificate will either show that BHO Sr was not his father thus proving that his “biography” is a lie OR that he was indeed born overseas and since his mother was only 18 at the time of his birth she could not legally convey citizenship to barry.
