I’ll take your word on that sight....
Ya played pretty well in the AM though. Hell, when it’s that hot, although cheeseburgers are the way to go, I probably would have had nothing more than a salad, and my bag would be loaded with Gatorade, Glacier Freeze to be exact....
Had fun though, right?

A heavy news day, but how about some pictures to start off the thread.
Remember a week or so ago I posted a picture of RR volunteers. Well, here is a whole NEW group who have arrived. Pretty amazing that they still come in the middle of a recession (or maybe things aren't quite so bad as Big O would have us believe).

Sage green, mixed with some light almond, and some sable brown for contrast. =)

Regular folks are taking train too. Here are a couple from last week. The length of the train and the slippery rails from the rain required a second engine to pull the train up the steep grade to the top of the 10,000+ foot mountain pass.

That sucks your TiVO stopped at 1:00.....
So what did you miss? For starters the history making moment came when the roof over Centre Court needed to be used for the first time, cause of some light rain falling late in the afternoon. The final ladies’ R16 match and Murray/Wawarinka were played under cover......
Roddick won easily in straight sets. The Murray/Wawarinka match went 5 sets, with Murray winning 6-3 in the 5th set. The match, almost 4 hours in length didn’t end till 10:40PM in London, meaning of course that’s now the latest match ever played at Wimbledon.
So I guess two records were set today....
