What would you think they would do about their country now? What would Washington do? What would Lincoln do? Are we missing something here?
I’ll go along with you on Washington, but Lincoln was a fed tyrant if there ever was one. He is one of the main figures responsible for the increase in federal power.
I’ve often thought that if the founding fathers could have known what the US would become, they wouldn’t have bothered to start the fight.
