Exactly, and this would show nothing on autopsy but would have to be inferred from the toxicology.

Respiratory arrest leads easily to cardiac arrest. I was reading up on CPR the other day and found out that a person can live for several minutes without breathing as long as the heart keeps beating, which can happen with some drug overdoses.
