"The United States will not use force to inspect a North Korean ship suspected of carrying banned goods, an American official was quoted as saying Friday."

"The U.N. resolution lays out a regime that has a very clear set of steps," Flournoy said, according to the Yonhap news agency. "I want to be very clear ... This is not a resolution that sponsors, that authorizes use of force for interdiction."

But if you’d like to let us board, if you would, you know, invite us to come on and while we’re on we just, you know, have a little look-see, well, that’d be nice too.

But just if you want us too. We’re not forcing you to do anything.

Known and stated from the beginning. The Obama regime is distressingly predictable.

So now our foreign policy is decided by the United Nations.

If you read the resolution, it authorizes us to ask if we can inspect, something we could have done without a resolution.

North Korea will deny, of course.

The UN is great.

IOW, it is a meaningless resolution.

Worse. Not only are we not going to inspect their ships, WE ARE TELLING THEM WE ARE NOT GOING TO USE FORCE TO INSPECT THEIR SHIPS. I know five-year-olds with better tactics than that.

I 100% agree that the NK ship should be boarded and if they refuse, force should be used, but let’s face it, thats not how things go in the real world when it comes to North Korea.

This is nothing new to the Obama administration. When did President Bush order force to be used against a North Korean ship?

The inspection will happen in a friendly port. Thats the reality. Force was never an issue.

He’s a traitor to the U.S.A.

That presupposes that the US has ever had any call on his allegiance, a fact not in evidence.
