I don't agree. It reminds me of Bob Dole. He wasted so much time on minutae instead of naming the scientists who deny AGW and ridiculing the fraud of the SCIENCE. Also he is not mentioning how the "Saudi" argument is irrelevant, since this is all about electricity, and we get almost none of that from oil. What about the facts that WE are the Saudi Arabia of coal, and how the Democrats want to leave all that wealth in the ground! How China and India are laughing at us and will never adopt cap and trade and will suck up what remains of our industrial jobs? What about the fact that New Zealand, one of the first to enact cap and trade, is now dismantling it, with Australia about to do the same?

I disagree. I didn’t know that the Feds are now going to mandate standard building codes on my house, so when I put an addition on it, I’ll have to do thousands of dollars of upgrades, just to keep the government happy. I suspected, but he confirmed my suspicions. Anyway, I think he’s doing a good job of exposing the foolishness of this bill. Besides, he might get to your point next, he’s only on page 146!
