I think the whole concept of “born again American” confuses/imples that having patriotic ferver is akin to being reconcilled with God. Red-State Americans are not that dumb. (or confused)-unlike the left who wants to portray both Traditional Patriotism and Christianity as so.

I recognized that last name. He probably got it from the following...
Lehrer began working with PBS network in 1973, and in 1975 developed and co-anchored The MacNeil/Lehrer Report with Robert MacNeil. The news show was later renamed The MacNeil/Lehrer NewsHour, and after MacNeil’s departure in 1995 was ultimately named The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer.

That’s how they work. They talk about America and patriotism and civil rights, but what they Really mean is Communism and surrendering our rights to the government. That’s the Left for you.
Of course, and that’s why I said up above that “the devil is in the details” — a phrase I keep in mind all the time.
I always like to see “where we are going” (to end up at) and that tells me a lot... :-)

When they do it to prop up someone who is a fraud because he was not born American it makes the fraud especially evil.
