Looking for discussion on the current live coverage of the Cap and Trade Bill on C-SPAN.
So Pelosi owns stock in a new Engergy Company. That’s enough to exclude her vote. She should be in jail and this time I will bet there would be a good chance of her going. People of all walks in life are furious at the arrogance of these people.
We keep saying that this Bill will tie America's hands while other much dirtier countries don't have to comply...that sends jobs away and taxes our citizens. CA has greened itself into bankruptcy...please respect the environment, but don't be insane!
Glenn is starting to wear on me.
I’m tired of his “progressives on the left and right” mantra.
You can not be a progressive and be on the right as well.
There are Republican progressives, sure, but they are not on the right.
Call your Congressmen/women that are on our side to let us know who to call to support their No vote - we’re on their side and can help, but need to know who the 50/50’s are...
Well, he didn’t steal that from Mark. Probably stole that from Weiner Nation.
Call these fence sitting Republicans as well as any other congress critter you think needs to hear from you...
Vern Buchanan (FL-13): 202-225-5015
Joseph Cao (LA-02): 202-225-6636
Vern Ehlers (MI-03): 202-225-3831
Rodney Frelinghuysen (NJ-11): 202-225-5034
Jim Gerlach (PA-06): 202-225-4315
Tim Johnson (IL-15): 202-225-2371
Mark Kirk (IL-10): 202-225-4835
Chris Smith (NJ-04): 202-225-3765
Besides, it's MUCH better than listening to Hannity say "literally" one more time!
Hold on now!
LOL
Thank you!!!!
I’ll give you that.
Hannity’s a lighweight. Always has been, always will be.
This bill is going to die and the staterun media is going to blame the Republicans for killing this monumental bill.
Then next week the DNC will be running commercials stating how the Republicans are destroying the environment. It doesn’t matter that 50 or so blue dogs voted with the Republicans on this.
Any representative from an oil producing or coal producing state that votes for this should be dragged out back and beaten to a pulp.
“I hope you are right...My Congressman Glenn Nye office said 50/50.”
I was talking about the calls to the live C-SPAN Dem, Ind and GOP lines. Not scientifically valid, but interesting...and many of the callers were VERY upset.

Shame on them if they vote yes.
Called my House Rep. He is against and said there are people against on both sides.
But Congressman Mark Kirk is still on the fence. Please PING everyone. Call him at the Northbrook Office - 847-940-0202
The DC office number is 202-225-4835 but it has been busy all morning!

OMG!
After we put up a stiff fight and the Dems run commercials castigating those with common sense, THEN let them pass the bill. They will OWN the tax increases when they start showing up on peoples utility bills.
Remember that Obama himself said that “electricity rates would skyrocket” under ‘cap and trade’.
