I think the standard I use is to look at the lyrics, without the crotch grabbing and child grabbing.
I think the last time I spent a nickel on the guy was in 1996. The jewel case for the Thriller CD acted as my nightstand coaster for a few years (dont really remember why, but when my glass of water sweat it was a good coaster.)
Personally, I would listen to Glen Miller over him most any day of the week, and it has always been that way. Glenn Miller died 15 years before I was born, so perhaps I am just weird too!
In any event, I dread the news for the next few weeks. All MJ All the time. It is going to suck.
We listen to Medieval and Renaissance music to accompany our dinners that my husband finds on the internet. After that period, I like baroque music, then I jump up to folk music. I’m very limited. My husband teases me that should I ever become a contestant on Jeopardy, that if a category is modern culture of any type, that I know I’ll lose.
