Think about operating on the wrong person or amputating the wrong limb. I don't remember that kind of thing being prevalent before. Bad doctors need to be drummed out instead of other doctors covering for them. I believe that the number of lawsuits would go down. Our medical field has some cracks but it's not broken. There certainly needs to be reform but not what these DC fools are suggesting.

But you are also correct that the BIGGEST contribution to medical cost hyperinflation is the tort actions of money-hungry medical malpractice attorneys like John Edwards. And many others.
