I’m with you: I never understood the appeal of his music. I can’t think of one piece of music of his I enjoyed. Thriller? yikes.
Just not my style I guess.

I was a fan anyway, but I recall seeing him on TV once - he just stepped on the stage and I could almost see the electricity. I’ve never seen anything like it - and that was on TV. If nothing else, he was a dynamic performer.
