We must always pray for we are all sinners but we must also repent. Some people have the belief that nobody goes to hell. Yet the fear of the Lord is a gift of the holy spirit.

Chubby Checker was big, too...

He certainly was, and how we enjoyed The Twist and Blueberry Hill. There was no way for me to get through all the rock'n'rollers -- too many to list.

You also left out Soul Brother Number One, without him, there’s no MJ.

James Brown? Awesome. Just too many to list. To my point that Sharpton does black people no favor by saying inane things like that Michael was the first black crossover star. There were so many before him.

I’m getting a kick out of your holier-than-thou agnostic obsession with Michael Jackson. Your liberal hypocrisy is showing.

Look! No one is advocating Child Abuse of any kind here...

I have no proof Michael Jackson was molesting any children.

Maybe he did or maybe he didn’t....Where are these kids? the ones who’s parents made millions off of Jackson?

Only 2 accussed him....

WHAT ARE YOU MISSING?

That he was one of the greatest entertainers that ever lived

That he was a human being that had children, parents, siblings, friends....That he is worthy of respectful comments by other human beings.

Did you mean: Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder.

More-or-less, yes. :-)

I am absolutely floored about how many (so called) conservatives are coming to the defense of this serial child molester. I am sorry he died, but this hero worship on this the most unlikely of sites is perplexing.

Maybe they got ahold of some Jesus Juice too..

"Damn, I had Courtney Love. :-("

You can't win 'em all. I wouldn't have bet on Jackson before Courtney but there it is.

Dumbest thing I have heard all day. The Liberals are slobbering all over themselves in mourning baby-dangle man. I see you are in deep solidarity with them. As they say, freaks of a feather mourn together.

Was James Brown talented?

Hell yeah! The Godfather was one of the greatest entertainers of the 20th century. Al Jolson was probably the greatest -- Jolson, Elvis, Bing, Sinatra, JB....

Elvis was/is the “King of Rock and Roll”. Damn, would have love to see what he’d be doing today at 75. On second thought maybe not.

I don’t see any hero worship. Just a combination of nostalgia for music a lot of people grew up with and sadness for a very talented human being who had a tragic life and died young.

"That he was one of the greatest entertainers that ever lived."

With all due respect that is only a matter of opinion.

“No one is advocating Child Abuse of any kind here...”

Like I said, what good can you say about a pedophile without complimenting a pedophile?

Unbelievable!
